Old gay men cruising in the woods at night

I looked at him for a moment, then continued to eat my lunch. The driver, a 60-ish year-old man in sunglasses and a baseball cap, got out and stared at me for a few seconds. On one of my first visits, there were quite a few cars there, and I parked about five spots away from a red Mazda CX-5. I started going there once or twice a week. Probably three months ago, I discovered a new forest preserve that I hadn't eaten at before. This seems to be pretty common, as I've noticed the same cars multiple times at these forest preserves. I am a man in my 30s and work an office job, and I typically spend my lunch hour listening to podcasts and eating in my car at any number of forest preserves (there are a bunch of them close by). This is a story that has been developing over the last few months, and I thought I should get it all down before I forget some details.
